# Documents for JMap NG

JMap Documents allows the user of a JMap NG application to access documents from a document repository or a document management system from the map. 

The JMap Documents extension offers features for: 

* Perform document searches in document repositories based on different criteria. 
* List documents that are associated with map items, displaying their metadata. 
* Download the documents.
