# JMap Pro User Guide

JMap Pro is a downloadable mapping software from the JMap family (JMap Pro, JMap NG and JMap Survey). 

JMap Pro connects to JMap Server to provide users an interactive map navigation, analysis and data editing tool. JMap Pro can run on the web or over a private network and it can be launched in standalone mode or via a web browser.

With all its rich tools and functionality, JMap Pro is the software of choice for many organizations who wish to share mapping data with their employees because it is a powerful, yet user-friendly solution. JMap Pro supports both vector and raster data. Lastly, JMap extensions can be integrated to JMap Pro in order to expand its functionality.
