# JMap extensions

Some [JMap Server extensions](/en2/administrator/jmap-server-administrator-manual/jmap-server-extensions.md) require the configuration of specific parameters at the layer level. To access the extension configuration interface, press ![](/files/ADpubGPXJJvJoDBgYkNf) and then the name of the extension. Once the settings are configured, press **Save**.
